Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Shopify Image Editor to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, resizing, and optimizing product images for various Shopify stores, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and enhance the customer’s online shopping experience. This is a crucial role that supports our merchants in presenting their products professionally and effectively across their e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and retouch product images to meet high-quality standards and specific brand guidelines.
- Resize and crop images for optimal display across different Shopify themes and devices.
- Ensure consistent image quality, color accuracy, and overall aesthetic appeal.
- Upload and manage product images within the Shopify admin interface.
- Perform quality assurance on all uploaded images to prevent display issues.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and follow established naming conventions.
- Stay updated with best practices in e-commerce image optimization and Shopify features.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, GIMP).
- Basic understanding of image optimization for web (file size, resolution).
- Familiarity with the Shopify platform, particularly image management features.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
