Job Description

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a B2B Wholesale Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team, focusing specifically on trade shows and events. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the planning, execution, and follow-up of various industry events, playing a vital role in enhancing our brand presence and fostering B2B relationships. You will support the marketing team in all aspects of event management, from logistical coordination to material development and post-event analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research, planning, and coordination of B2B trade shows, conferences, and marketing events.
  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, presentations, and promotional items for events.
  • Coordinate logistics for event participation, including booth setup, equipment rentals, and material shipping.
  • Help manage event budgets and track expenditures.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors, event organizers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with lead generation and follow-up activities post-event, including data entry and CRM updates.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis of industry trends related to B2B events.
  • Provide on-site support at local events as needed.
  • Contribute to post-event reports and performance analysis.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
