Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge Shopify e-commerce solutions for our diverse client portfolio. A key aspect of this position involves leveraging the latest AI development tools and techniques to enhance site functionality, personalize user experiences, and optimize operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify store capabilities.
- Utilize AI development tools (e.g., for personalization engines, predictive analytics, intelligent search, content generation) to enhance e-commerce features.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability across all devices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure robust and error-free deployments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in e-commerce, Shopify updates, and AI technologies.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify theme development using Liquid.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Sass), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Demonstrated experience integrating and working with AI development tools or APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, AWS AI services).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Shopify Plus development experience.
- Familiarity with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Ruby on Rails) for custom app development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Contribution to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
