Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Shoe Factory Gluing Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Edson. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to start a career in manufacturing and learn the intricate process of shoe production. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing materials and applying adhesives to various shoe components, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shoe components and surfaces for adhesive application.
- Apply appropriate adhesives to shoe parts using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Ensure consistent and accurate application of glue, preventing waste and defects.
- Inspect glued components for quality and proper adhesion.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with other general production tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or material quality issues to supervisors.
- Follow production schedules and contribute to meeting daily output targets.
