Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks over long and short hauls, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including those related to cargo securement and handling.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull freight as required.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD operations.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- HazMat or Tanker endorsements.
- Previous experience with various types of freight.
- Familiarity with Stockton and surrounding California routes.
- Proven track record of safe driving.
