Job Description

Join XPO Logistics through our ‘Second Chance Hiring – Open Door Trucking Policy’ in Stockton, CA. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy-duty trucks over long and short hauls, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
  • Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including those related to cargo securement and handling.
  • Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull freight as required.
  • Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD operations.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HazMat or Tanker endorsements.
  • Previous experience with various types of freight.
  • Familiarity with Stockton and surrounding California routes.
  • Proven track record of safe driving.
