Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Robotics & Automation Intern to join our dynamic Research & Development team in Westminster, London. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and automation solutions.
  • Contribute to software development for robot control, simulation, and data analysis.
  • Perform research on new technologies and methodologies in robotics and artificial intelligence.
  • Support the fabrication and assembly of robotic prototypes and test rigs.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document technical specifications, test procedures, and research findings.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control systems).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in innovative technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with robotic operating systems (ROS).
  • Knowledge of industrial automation platforms (PLCs, SCADA).
  • Previous experience with machine learning or computer vision libraries.
  • Participation in robotics competitions or personal projects.
