Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Robotics & Automation Intern to join our dynamic Research & Development team in Westminster, London. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and automation solutions.
- Contribute to software development for robot control, simulation, and data analysis.
- Perform research on new technologies and methodologies in robotics and artificial intelligence.
- Support the fabrication and assembly of robotic prototypes and test rigs.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Document technical specifications, test procedures, and research findings.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control systems).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in innovative technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotic operating systems (ROS).
- Knowledge of industrial automation platforms (PLCs, SCADA).
- Previous experience with machine learning or computer vision libraries.
