Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights are respected and their needs are met.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and discharge planning.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (depending on specialty).
- Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, OCN, CEN).
- Experience in a similar acute care hospital setting.
