Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Copywriter with a strong focus on blog content and product/service descriptions to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic, engages target audiences, and supports our clients’ digital marketing objectives. You will work closely with SEO specialists, content strategists, and marketing teams to develop content that ranks high in search engines and converts readers into customers. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms and content opportunities.
- Write engaging, high-quality blog posts, articles, web page copy, and product/service descriptions optimized for search engines and user experience.
- Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices, including keyword density, meta descriptions, title tags, and internal/external linking strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand content requirements and client brand guidelines.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and copywriting techniques.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all content.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an SEO Copywriter or similar role.
- Demonstrable portfolio of published SEO-optimized content (blogs, descriptions, articles).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).
- Ability to adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and brands.
- Strong research skills to gather accurate information for diverse topics.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience working with B2B and B2C clients across various industries.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in content design.
- Certification in SEO or content marketing.
- Ability to conduct competitor content analysis.
