Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Residential Care Worker for the night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in elder care, as full training will be provided – no prior experience is necessary! As a Night Shift Residential Care Worker, you will be a vital part of our residents’ comfort and safety during the overnight hours. Your role will involve assisting residents with their nightly needs, monitoring their well-being, and ensuring a peaceful and secure environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) during the night, including toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene, as needed.
- Conduct regular checks on residents throughout the night to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident calls and requests for assistance.
- Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report observations to the nursing staff.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Document care provided and any incidents or observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Ensure the security of the facility during night hours.
- Support a peaceful and quiet environment conducive to sleep for residents.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required.

- Understanding of the needs of elderly individuals
