Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant (Nursing Support) to join our team at our Assisted Living Facility in New Port Richey, FL. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation, using appropriate equipment as needed.
- Serve meals and assist residents with eating as required.
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs, health status, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support and companionship.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident calls and requests for assistance.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by nursing staff.

- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with resident care.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
