Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Remote UX/UI Tester to join our distributed team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously testing our applications and platforms, identifying usability issues, bugs, and areas for improvement. Your primary method of feedback will involve recording your screen as you interact with our products and providing clear, concise verbal commentary and written reports. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and user-friendliness of cutting-edge technology from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive UX/UI test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Record screen interactions and verbalize observations, issues, and suggestions in real-time.
- Identify, document, and prioritize bugs, usability flaws, and inconsistencies in user interfaces.
- Provide actionable feedback on design, navigation, and overall user flow.
- Collaborate asynchronously with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure clarity of feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Participate in remote team meetings and stand-ups as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in UX/UI testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with screen recording and annotation tools (e.g., Loom, OBS Studio, Camtasia).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues and user experience problems clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for visual and functional discrepancies.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and device types (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accessibility testing standards (WCAG).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Certification in Quality Assurance or User Experience.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
