Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Health Intern with a strong focus on Healthcare Experience to join our innovative team. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring healthcare professionals to gain hands-on experience in a leading integrated managed care consortium. The intern will support initiatives aimed at enhancing patient and member experience, analyzing healthcare service delivery, and contributing to strategic projects from a remote setting. You will contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts the quality of care and service our members receive.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and analysis of current healthcare experience trends and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of patient experience improvement initiatives.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to member feedback and service delivery.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments, including clinical operations, marketing, and IT, on experience-focused projects.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute actively to discussions.
- Support administrative tasks related to project management and team coordination.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in the healthcare industry and patient experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous volunteer or internship experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Basic understanding of healthcare quality improvement concepts.
