Job Description
Join the energetic team at Oceanside Party Rentals Co. as a Bouncy Castle Delivery & Setup Crew Member! This is a dynamic, hands-on, weekend-focused role perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and making a direct impact on people’s celebrations. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, setup, and takedown of our bouncy castles and other event equipment across Oceanside and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, deliver, and unload bouncy castles and other event equipment to various client locations.
- Efficiently set up bouncy castles according to safety guidelines, ensuring proper inflation, anchoring, and clean presentation.
- Conduct safety checks on all equipment before and after use.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, providing clear instructions on equipment use and safety.
- Dismantle, clean, and pack up equipment after events, ensuring all components are accounted for.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment as needed.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs regularly) and strenuous physical activity for extended periods.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery, moving, or event setup.
- Familiarity with inflatable equipment or party rental industry.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
