Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist Assistant to join our busy medical practice in Vacaville, CA. This crucial role supports the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where patient care is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take accurate messages.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing appointment calendars.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Prepare patient charts and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and external contacts.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
