Job Description
Are you meticulous, tech-savvy, and passionate about e-commerce? Amazon is seeking a dedicated Product Classification Pro to join our E-commerce AI Support team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our vast product catalog. You will utilize advanced AI tools and your keen analytical skills to classify products, ensure data consistency, and enhance the overall customer browsing and search experience. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently with large datasets and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI-driven classification systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately classify new and existing products into the appropriate categories within Amazon's extensive product taxonomy using internal tools and AI recommendations.
- Review and validate AI-generated product classifications, making corrections and providing feedback to improve model accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and completeness across product attributes and categories.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in product information, ensuring all listings adhere to Amazon's guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to refine classification rules and enhance system performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of product classification tools and processes.
- Stay informed about e-commerce trends, product categories, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry, data classification, or content management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using data management systems and office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
