Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our Taco Bell team for morning shifts in North Las Vegas. This role is crucial to our kitchen’s efficiency, focusing entirely on food preparation behind the scenes. You will be responsible for ensuring all ingredients are prepped, organized, and ready for our cooks, maintaining our high standards of food safety and quality. This position involves no customer contact, allowing you to concentrate solely on kitchen operations and contribute directly to our operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items such as vegetables, meats, and sauces according to Taco Bell recipes and standards.
- Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including kitchen equipment and storage areas.
- Monitor and restock inventory for various food items as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food production for service.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a kitchen environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
