Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Potato Baggers. This is a straightforward, manual role critical to our fresh produce operations, offering consistent work and competitive daily earnings. As a Potato Bagger, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and bagging potatoes, ensuring they meet our quality standards before distribution. This role is ideal for individuals looking for immediate start work, who are comfortable with repetitive tasks and can maintain a steady pace in a fast-moving environment. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and bag potatoes according to specified product sizes and quantities.
- Inspect potatoes for quality, removing any damaged or unsuitable produce.
- Operate basic bagging machinery safely and efficiently after training.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
- Meet daily production targets for bagged produce.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 15kg regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not essential).
- Familiarity with food handling and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
