Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status or behavior to the care supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- A compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and assisting clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR certification (training can be provided).
- Basic knowledge of first aid.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (volunteer or informal is welcome).
