Job Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous and efficient Pharmacy Data Processor to join our remote team. In this high-volume data entry role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and verifying pharmaceutical data, ensuring the integrity and compliance of our records. This position is critical to supporting our pharmacy benefit management services and requires exceptional attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. As a remote team member, you will operate independently while collaborating with a supportive network of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input a high volume of prescription data, patient information, and insurance details into proprietary systems.
  • Verify and cross-reference data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Process claims, rejections, and prior authorizations according to established protocols.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and other data privacy policies.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and other team members regarding data-related inquiries.
  • Perform routine data audits to ensure data integrity and compliance standards.
  • Adapt to evolving data entry processes and system updates.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet daily processing targets and deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in high-volume data entry, demonstrating speed and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, data entry software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of data confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
  • Experience with pharmacy management software or PBM systems.
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification in a related field.
