Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a flexible, active, and rewarding part-time job? Kroger in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond, VA, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Flyer Distributors to help us reach our local community during weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn money, get some exercise, and gain valuable work experience. You’ll be responsible for distributing promotional flyers to homes and businesses in designated areas, ensuring our latest deals and community events are well-publicized.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute promotional flyers, brochures, and marketing materials to residential and commercial properties in assigned routes within Shockoe Bottom and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, adhering to established distribution guidelines and routes.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while representing Kroger in the community.
- Report any issues or challenges encountered during distribution to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and local regulations regarding flyer distribution.
- Manage and organize distribution materials efficiently.
Required Skills
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Familiarity with the Shockoe Bottom, Richmond area.
- Previous experience in flyer distribution or similar outdoor work.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from the distribution starting point.
