Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Meeting Scribe with a strong corporate focus to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a Meeting Scribe, you will be responsible for accurately capturing discussions, decisions, and action items from various high-level corporate meetings. Your ability to distill complex conversations into clear, concise, and actionable summaries is paramount. You will work closely with leadership and project teams, ensuring vital information is documented efficiently and distributed promptly. This role requires exceptional listening skills, strong written communication, and a proactive approach to managing meeting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend virtual corporate meetings across various departments and time zones.
  • Accurately transcribe meeting discussions, key decisions, action items, and next steps.
  • Summarize complex topics into clear, concise, and structured meeting minutes.
  • Distribute meeting minutes and related documentation to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized repository of meeting documentation for easy retrieval.
  • Follow up on action items with assigned owners as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data security for all sensitive meeting information.
  • Collaborate with meeting facilitators and participants to clarify any ambiguities.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a meeting scribe, minute-taker, or administrative assistant in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
  • Superior written communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and terminology.
  • Experience with various virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Google Meet).
  • Certification in administrative professional roles or similar.
