Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Policy Implementation Assistant with a strong focus on Project Management to join our dynamic team in Doral, Florida. This role is integral to supporting the successful execution and adoption of various policy initiatives for our clients across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will assist in managing project timelines, tracking deliverables, facilitating communication, and ensuring that policy changes are implemented smoothly and effectively. You will work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and client stakeholders to ensure compliance and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets for policy implementation initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and help develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare project status reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to policy rollouts and ensure timely follow-ups on action items.
- Support the documentation and standardization of policy implementation processes and best practices.
- Facilitate communication between various teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
- Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and implementation efforts.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all necessary files and records are organized and accessible.
- Assist in the development of communication strategies to inform stakeholders about new or revised policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management and policy implementation framework.
Required Skills
- Proven organizational and project coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Prior experience in a consulting environment or large corporate setting.
- Familiarity with policy analysis or compliance frameworks.
- Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation).
