Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-time Night Porter to join our team, working two nights per week. This role is perfect for someone looking to earn ‘extra cash’ and contribute to the smooth operation of our prestigious hotel during the quieter hours. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests, as well as handling various operational tasks throughout the night. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security checks and patrols of the premises, ensuring all areas are secure.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and emergencies.
  • Assist guests with luggage and room service deliveries when required.
  • Handle late check-ins and early check-outs efficiently.
  • Prepare meeting rooms or public areas for the following day's activities.
  • Undertake light cleaning duties in public areas.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and fire alarm panels, responding to any alerts.
  • Complete administrative tasks and reports as required.
  • Maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
