Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Hotel Room Attendant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that Marriott International is known for. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas are impeccably clean, comfortable, and inviting. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and common areas to Marriott's brand standards, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly to management.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor with guests and fellow associates.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned rooms within the given timeframe.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, pushing, and pulling.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
