Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Nature & Wildlife Labeler to join our innovative Green Tech AI Projects team. In this hybrid role based in Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, you will play a crucial part in training and refining AI models designed to monitor, protect, and understand natural ecosystems and biodiversity. Your work will directly contribute to projects involving wildlife tracking, habitat assessment, and environmental pattern recognition. If you have a keen eye for detail, an interest in the natural world, and are excited about the intersection of technology and conservation, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately label and annotate images, videos, and audio data related to various aspects of nature and wildlife (e.g., species identification, habitat classification, behavioral patterns) according to project guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on labeled data to ensure consistency and adherence to predefined criteria.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand labeling requirements and improve data quality.
  • Provide constructive feedback on labeling tools and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain meticulous records of work progress and data integrity.
  • Stay updated on project-specific guidelines and domain knowledge related to nature and wildlife.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to foster continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Identify and escalate data anomalies or issues encountered during the labeling process.
