Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for live music? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a dedicated Music Booking Agent to join our team. This is a high-commission role offering significant earning potential for self-starters who thrive in a remote work environment. You will be responsible for identifying, booking, and managing performance opportunities for a diverse roster of artists across various genres and venues. This position requires exceptional negotiation skills, a robust network within the music industry, and a proven ability to close deals. With flexible work-from-home options, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your schedule and cultivate strong relationships with artists, promoters, and venue managers to secure the best opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new booking opportunities for artists across various venues and markets.
- Negotiate performance fees, contract terms, and logistics with promoters, venues, and festival organizers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, their management teams, and industry contacts.
- Manage artist schedules, travel arrangements, and technical riders efficiently.
- Oversee the entire booking process from initial outreach to contract execution and post-show follow-up.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging talent to inform booking strategies.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and promotion teams to maximize artist exposure and show attendance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on booking activities, sales performance, and market insights.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in music booking, talent management, or a related sales role within the entertainment industry.
- Demonstrable track record of successful deal negotiation and closing.
- Extensive network of contacts within the music industry (artists, venues, promoters).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in multiple languages (beneficial for international bookings).
- Experience working with diverse musical genres and artist profiles.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies for artist promotion.
