Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and outgoing individual with a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals? Anytime Fitness in Meridian is looking for a dynamic Member Service Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our members, driving membership sales, and ensuring an exceptional club experience. You will be the first point of contact for many, playing a key role in membership engagement and retention. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in members and guests with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Conduct engaging tours of the facility for prospective members and explain membership options.
- Actively participate in membership sales, renewals, and retention efforts, achieving daily/weekly/monthly goals.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage general inquiries effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting gym environment, including light cleaning duties.
- Assist members with equipment usage, provide basic fitness guidance, and resolve service issues promptly.
- Process membership agreements, payments, and update member information accurately.
- Promote club events, personal training, and retail products.
- Participate in local marketing and outreach events to attract new members.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience, ideally in a retail, hospitality, or sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High energy level and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a gym or fitness-related setting.
- Prior sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
- Knowledge of fitness principles and gym equipment.
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
