Job Description
Join Netflix as a Media Tagging Associate and play a crucial role in enhancing our content library. This is a 100% remote position where you will be responsible for meticulously tagging and categorizing a wide variety of films, series, and documentaries. Your work will directly impact how millions of members discover and enjoy content on our platform, ensuring an intuitive and personalized experience. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag and categorize diverse media content (films, series, documentaries) according to established guidelines and taxonomies.
- Ensure consistency and high quality of metadata to support robust search functionality, content recommendations, and user personalization.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, errors, or ambiguities in content information or tagging tools.
- Collaborate effectively with content teams and data analysts to refine tagging methodologies and improve data quality.
- Stay informed about current content trends, industry best practices, and internal system updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and integrity of the Netflix content catalog.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and classification.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively to meet production targets.
- Proficiency in using digital content management systems and various software tools.
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a remote work environment.
- A deep passion for entertainment content across multiple genres, cultures, and formats.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ years) in media, library science, data entry, content moderation, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Netflix content library and understanding of its diverse offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Communications, Library Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Multilingual abilities are a significant advantage.
