Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Warehouse Auditor to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our supply chain operations by conducting comprehensive virtual audits of warehouse processes, inventory, and compliance standards. The successful candidate will leverage technology to assess operational effectiveness, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements, all from a 100% remote work environment. This is a full-time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to impact our global logistics directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote audits of warehouse inventory, receiving, shipping, and storage procedures.
- Analyze data from warehouse management systems to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Collaborate with warehouse management and operational teams to implement corrective actions and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and refine audit methodologies suitable for remote execution.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on audit findings and process improvements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing (3+ years).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA) or supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with virtual audit tools and remote collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of retail logistics and distribution networks.
