Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Fast Food Prep Hand to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, ensuring a consistent schedule. As a Prep Hand, you will be crucial to our kitchen’s success, responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the culinary team. This role requires speed, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy the convenience of weekly direct deposit.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily food preparation tasks according to Chick-fil-A standards and recipes, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including kitchen stations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of food items.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as slicers, blenders, and fryers (with proper training).
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours, ensuring all necessary ingredients are readily available.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus, but not required.
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
