Job Description
Join the Sephora team as a Makeup Artist Assistant, supporting our lead artists during various event-based activities, primarily on weekends. This role is perfect for aspiring makeup artists, beauty enthusiasts, or anyone looking for flexible, hands-on experience in the dynamic world of beauty events. You will assist with setup, organization, client interaction, and basic application tasks, ensuring a smooth and successful event experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead makeup artists with event setup and breakdown, including organizing products, tools, and stations.
- Prepare clients for makeup application, including sanitization and basic skin prep.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all makeup stations, brushes, and equipment throughout events.
- Provide basic makeup assistance, such as foundation matching, primer application, or simple touch-ups under supervision.
- Manage inventory and ensure all necessary products are available and replenished.
- Greet and engage with clients, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling or client intake forms.
- Adhere to all hygiene and safety protocols.
- Support promotional activities and product demonstrations.
