Job Description

Join Magna International’s innovative team as a LiDAR Annotation Operator, focusing on advancing self-driving car technology. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously annotating complex LiDAR point cloud data, which is essential for training and validating perception systems for autonomous vehicles. You will work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality, accurate data is available for machine learning models. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise 3D annotation of objects within LiDAR point cloud datasets using specialized software.
  • Categorize and label various elements such as vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, lane markings, and traffic signs.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in annotations, adhering to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and escalate complex or ambiguous annotation cases to lead annotators or engineers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve annotation tools, guidelines, and workflows.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure the integrity of annotated data.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of autonomous driving perception systems.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and navigating digital interfaces.
  • Strong spatial reasoning and visual perception skills.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
