Job Description

No prior experience is necessary – if you have a passion for customer service and a clean driving record, we want to hear from you! We are committed to investing in our employees and will fully cover the cost of your Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence training. Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required training to obtain your PCV licence.
- Learn to operate various types of transit buses safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant journey.
- Collect fares, issue transfers, and manage passenger manifests.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to read and understand maps and schedules.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with the Sechelt area and local road networks.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
