Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with the setup, operation, and maintenance of well service equipment at various job sites.
  • Learn and apply all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment under supervision.
  • Monitor equipment performance during operations and report any anomalies or issues.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including job tickets, safety forms, and maintenance logs.
  • Participate in pre-job planning and post-job reviews to optimize service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and company equipment.
  • Actively engage in training programs and mentorship opportunities to advance technical skills and career progression.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to strict operational protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical training in a related field (e.g., diesel mechanics, heavy equipment operation)
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work environment
  • Basic knowledge of oilfield terminology and operations
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
