Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Clinic Nurse to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This crucial role involves providing comprehensive occupational health services to our employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will manage workplace injuries and illnesses, conduct health screenings, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to overall wellness initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Perform health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for employees.
- Administer immunizations and conduct health surveillance programs as required.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee medical records.
- Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Management to develop and implement health and wellness programs.
- Assist in managing workers' compensation cases, including injury reporting and follow-up care.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations to prevent injuries.
- Educate employees on health, safety, and wellness topics.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
- Manage and restock clinic supplies and equipment.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health, emergency room, or industrial clinic settings.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation laws, and ADA compliance.
- Proficiency in conducting health assessments and providing first aid/emergency care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or COHN-S.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in a manufacturing or beverage bottling environment.
- Knowledge of toxicology pertinent to an industrial setting.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
