Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitorial Assistant to join our evening office support team in Aberdeen. This crucial role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our corporate offices and facilities, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for all employees and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties performed predominantly in the evening hours after regular office operations, contributing to a professional workspace that reflects Shell’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and dusting surfaces in offices, common areas, and meeting rooms.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during shifts.
- Ensure all areas are locked and secured upon completion of duties.
Required Skills

- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
