Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team in the New Port Richey region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing and evaluating complex public policies, programs, and initiatives. You will contribute to strategic planning, provide data-driven insights, and develop actionable recommendations for our clients in government and public sector domains. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of public policies, legislation, and regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of existing programs and proposed policy changes.
- Develop detailed policy briefs, reports, presentations, and other communication materials for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate policy analysis with economic, social, and technical considerations.
- Formulate evidence-based recommendations to inform client decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor policy trends, legislative developments, and stakeholder activities relevant to client objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather qualitative data and stakeholder input.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior management in a clear and compelling manner.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in policy research, analysis, and evaluation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly.
- Demonstrated understanding of government processes and legislative procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Experience working with government agencies or public sector clients.
