Job Description
Are you looking for a fun, energetic, and rewarding first job or part-time opportunity? Baskin-Robbins in New Port Richey, FL, is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Servers to join our team! This is a fantastic role for teens and students who love ice cream and enjoy making people happy. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You’ll be the face of our store, scooping delicious treats, crafting custom desserts, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and products.
- Scoop and serve ice cream, create sundaes, milkshakes, and other dessert items accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate till.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including serving areas, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Restock inventory, including cones, toppings, and paper goods.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving any concerns with a positive attitude.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare for opening and closing duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- High school student or recent graduate looking for a first job experience.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
