Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Porter to join our prestigious team at The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, assisting guests with luggage, parking, and general inquiries, ensuring a seamless and exceptional stay from arrival to departure. This role is crucial in upholding our reputation for outstanding service and creating lasting positive impressions. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with luggage handling.
  • Escorting guests to their rooms and familiarizing them with hotel facilities.
  • Assisting with guest requests, including directions, local information, and transportation.
  • Managing the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel entrance and assisting with valet parking when required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
  • Delivering newspapers, mail, and other items to guest rooms.
  • Supporting other hotel departments as needed, ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Ensuring the security of guest belongings and hotel property.
