Job Description
BrightView Landscape Services is seeking enthusiastic and motivated High School Yard Crew members to join our team in the Channelside District of Tampa. This entry-level position is perfect for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the landscaping and outdoor services industry. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning essential skills in grounds maintenance, plant care, and equipment operation. If you love working outdoors, are eager to learn, and want to contribute to creating beautiful landscapes, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and blowing.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees under supervision.
- Water plants and maintain irrigation systems.
- Help with the proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Support senior crew members with various outdoor tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods).
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.

- Basic understanding of safety practices.
