Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Harvest Crew Members to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the food supply chain, and gain valuable agricultural experience. We are committed to providing a supportive environment, and for this role, tent and caravan sites will be provided for your convenience near our harvest operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the manual harvesting of various crops, primarily potatoes.
- Operating basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Sorting and grading produce according to quality standards.
- Loading and unloading harvested crops onto trailers and into storage facilities.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for demanding outdoor work.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends, during peak season.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Adaptability to varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agriculture or outdoor manual labor is a plus, but not essential.
- A valid UK driving license and access to transport, though tent/caravan sites are provided.
- Basic understanding of farm safety practices.
