Job Description
Are you eager to kickstart a career in trades and property maintenance? Mitie is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Handyman Helper in the vibrant West End of Glasgow. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a passion for hands-on work. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining valuable skills in various areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general repairs. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters) with various tasks.
- Carry and move materials and tools safely around job sites.
- Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after tasks.
- Perform basic repair tasks under supervision, such as patching walls or simple painting.
- Help with general upkeep and maintenance of properties.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures diligently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Attend training sessions to develop new skills and knowledge.
