Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented WFH Claims Administrator to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing insurance claims from initial contact through resolution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a vital part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process new insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and accurately recorded.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, and internal departments via phone, email, and virtual platforms.
  • Review policy details and claim information to determine coverage and next steps.
  • Coordinate with claims adjusters, legal teams, and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim records in the company's system.
  • Prepare and send out correspondence related to claims processing, including status updates and required information requests.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies regarding claims handling.
  • Identify and escalate complex or high-priority claims to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices and company procedures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with insurance claims processing software or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and terminology.
