Key Responsibilities

- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual with professionalism.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain patient records and administrative files, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable at all times.
- Answer general inquiries and provide information about services, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all Duke Health System policies and procedures, including patient privacy (HIPAA) guidelines.
