Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Catering Prep team members to support our busy weekend major events in Pasco, WA. This is a fast-paced role perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and are passionate about contributing to memorable dining experiences. You will play a crucial role behind the scenes, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for our culinary team to create exceptional dishes. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and simple assembly.
  • Organize and maintain kitchen and storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock rotation.
  • Set up and break down event buffets, food stations, and serving areas.
  • Transport food, beverages, and equipment to and from event locations within the venue.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations meticulously.
  • Support the culinary team with any additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth event execution.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role.
  • Current Food Handler's Permit/Card.
  • Familiarity with large-scale event logistics.
