Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Catering Prep team members to support our busy weekend major events in Pasco, WA. This is a fast-paced role perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and are passionate about contributing to memorable dining experiences. You will play a crucial role behind the scenes, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for our culinary team to create exceptional dishes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and simple assembly.
- Organize and maintain kitchen and storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock rotation.
- Set up and break down event buffets, food stations, and serving areas.
- Transport food, beverages, and equipment to and from event locations within the venue.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations meticulously.
- Support the culinary team with any additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth event execution.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds regularly.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role.
- Current Food Handler's Permit/Card.
- Familiarity with large-scale event logistics.
