Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Shopify Clerk to join our growing e-commerce team. This fully remote position is perfect for an organized individual who thrives in a virtual environment and is proficient in handling customer inquiries through email and chat platforms. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth online operations by providing exceptional support to our customers and assisting with various administrative tasks related to our Shopify store. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start their career in e-commerce, offering valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and live chat regarding orders, products, shipping, and returns.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate complex problems to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Update order statuses, track shipments, and process cancellations or modifications within the Shopify platform.
- Assist with basic product data entry and inventory updates on the Shopify store as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring data integrity.
- Provide feedback on common customer issues to help improve overall service and product offerings.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English.
- Proficiency in using email and chat communication tools.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- Prior customer service or administrative experience.
- Familiarity with retail or home improvement products.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered a strong asset for our Quebec operations.
