Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Executive Sprinter Driver with a strong focus on group logistics to join our dynamic team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This pivotal role involves the safe and efficient transportation of executives, clients, and small groups, ensuring comfort, punctuality, and an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable driving skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to route planning and vehicle maintenance. You will be responsible for upholding XPO Logistics’ high standards of professionalism and safety in all aspects of your duties, contributing directly to our reputation for reliable and premium logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Sprinter van for the transportation of executives, clients, and small groups to various destinations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
- Plan and optimize routes efficiently, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and passenger schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Sprinter van to executive standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with loading/unloading luggage and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and travel times.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times, demonstrating discretion and reliability.
- Manage unexpected changes in schedules or routes with flexibility and composure.
Required Skills
- Valid Class E Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in executive or group transportation.
- In-depth knowledge of local and regional routes in Florida, particularly the Tampa Bay area.
- Proven ability to operate a Sprinter van or similar large passenger vehicle safely and smoothly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and real-time traffic applications.
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced driving techniques.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge for minor checks and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with corporate travel protocols and executive client service.
