Job Description
Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for film and television? Netflix is seeking a dedicated Remote Show Categorization Clerk to join our team. In this 100% work-from-home role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and discoverability of our vast content library. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of various genres will directly impact how millions of subscribers find their next favorite show or movie. We are looking for someone who is methodical, reliable, and committed to maintaining the high quality of Netflix’s content data.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize Netflix shows, movies, and other content based on established guidelines and metadata standards.
- Ensure consistent tagging across genres, subgenres, themes, and other relevant attributes to enhance user experience.
- Review and verify existing content classifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, issues, or potential areas for improvement within the content catalog.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality while working independently in a remote setting.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to refine categorization processes and standards.
- Stay updated on content trends and Netflix's evolving content library.
Required Skills

- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for content evaluation.
- Proficiency with internet navigation, online research tools, and basic office software.
