Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete Swift's CDL-A training program, adhering to all instructional guidelines and safety protocols.
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Manage and maintain accurate logs and documentation related to hours of service, mileage, and cargo.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per DOT regulations)
- Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) upon successful completion of training
- No prior driving experience required
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
