Job Description
Are you passionate about mobile gaming and have an eagle eye for detail? Electronic Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mobile Game Tester to join our remote quality assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and polish of our upcoming mobile titles on both iOS and Android platforms. You’ll be instrumental in identifying bugs, providing feedback, and contributing directly to the player experience from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases across various iOS and Android devices.
- Identify, record, and track software defects using our bug tracking system.
- Provide clear, concise, and thorough bug reports with steps to reproduce.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to the QA lead.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand game features and design.
- Perform regression testing, usability testing, and performance testing as needed.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for mobile gaming on iOS and Android platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with various mobile devices and operating system versions.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience playing EA mobile titles.
